This one is for the hill above downtown San Rafael. Dominican and Black Canyon stretch up into the trees, and the Dominican Nature Preserve is right there at the top of it, where the streets stop and the trail starts.

Mission San Rafael Arcangel gave the city its name. The Marin County Historical Society keeps the records. That history lives at the edge of this neighborhood, and the hoodie wears it straight.
